The postponement was communicated to the Edo State FA and Insurance FC on Monday,16,2024 by the Nigeria Premier League Football (NPFL) management in a circular signed by the Chief Operating Officer David Owumi.
The Match Day 3 postponement is due to the Edo State Gubernatorial Elections scheduled for the same Saturday, September 21,2024 earlier date for the fixture.
The Benin Arsenals will be honouring the match day four fixture with Niger Tornadoes in
Kaduna on Sunday, September 29,2024.
