Bendel Insurance Football Club has continued to maintain stability and resilience as they once again proved difficult for opponents to break at home and away since Kennedy Boboye took charge in October last year.

On Sunday evening in Yenagoa,the Benin Arsenals fought with everything to ensure a goaless stalemate at the Samson Siasia Stadium, the fortress of Bayelsa Utd in the match day 26 of Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Benin Arsenals and Bayelsa United FC also shared the spoils when they met in their first round encounter in 2025. The game ended 1-1 in Benin

Going into the match day 26 clash, Bayelsa United FC occupied 15th position while Bendel Insurance FC held on to 6th position which they still maintained now with 38 points.

Bendel Insurance will be on the road again for their double away clash of the second round of the current season as they travel to Lafia to face title contenders Nasarawa Utd in the match day 27 on Sunday, February 22.
